Reflexology researchResearch into Reflexology

We are pleased to announce that Judith Whatley PRM has joined our team to share her expertise in the area of research.

Judith  is a Professional Reflexologist. She runs a therapy centre called 'Something else' in South Wales which offers a range of complementary and mainstream therapies.
She runs a private school of reflexology - the Academy of Combined Reflexology - which has taught professional courses since 2004, and where she also runs a series of CPD courses and one day workshops to further the professional knowledge of Reflexologists.

Judith lectures in Reflexology and research on the BSc(Hons) in Complementary Therapies, at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.

She is currently completing a higher degree in research (Mres) at the University of Wales, and hopes to continue to build on the growing evidence base in reflexology research. Her professional research interests centre around the mechanism of action of reflexology, the impact of reflexology on the ageing process, brain activity and reflexology, and demystifying the research process, making research more accessible to the masses.
Judith is a Psychology graduate, a married mum of two, who enjoys swimming, walking, and tries to find time to play golf occasionally.

You will be able to see research based evidence in many of our future articles.
